The Homebound Ministry's purpose is to visit the members of Our Lady of Sorrows Church that are unable to attend Mass and to bring them holy communion since they are not able to attend Mass.

Our Lord Jesus Christ repeatedly demonstrated His love and concern for the sick and infirm so we at Our Lady of Sorrows desire to follow His example by letting our people know that they are cared for and still an important part of the Body of Christ.

Who can help with this ministry?

Any Catholic who 
   1. is over the age of 18,
   2. has received all of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy      
        Communion),
   3. has been deputed as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion by the bishop with 
        the permission of the pastor.
